Thank you to the Singapore Institute of Architects and all participants who joined us last Thursday (13th Nov) for an insightful discussion on how Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) can transform the way we design and power our buildings. During the event, participating architects also visited our full-scale BIPV façade installation at SolarGy’s building, where we had a hands-on discussion about real-world applications.

It was inspiring to see nearly 60 architects come together to explore how facades can do more than define a building’s aesthetics — they can now generate clean energy while preserving architectural intent. The audience was highly engaged, and we delved deep into design and practical applications, fielding many thoughtful questions.

At SolarGy, we believe the future of urban sustainability lies in solutions that merge function, beauty, and renewable energy. BIPV is one of the most promising pathways toward achieving net-zero cities, and we’re excited to continue pushing boundaries with our industry partners.
