NEWS & EVENTS
We had an incredible time at our BIPV Powered Facades – Accelerating Your Net Zero Journey seminar on 7th March, bringing together industry experts, partners, and stakeholders to explore the future of sustainable energy solutions on the facades.
A huge thank you to our speakers and guests for making this event a success! Your insights, participation, and support contributed to meaningful discussions and valuable knowledge-sharing. We were thrilled to receive so many positive compliments and are excited about the possibilities ahead.
As we continue to innovate in BIPV, we look forward to collaborating with all of you to drive Singapore’s transition towards a greener, more energy-efficient future.

We are excited to share an important update that could revolutionize your solar projects. Through our collaboration with Jolywood, we have developed a solar panel that allows for safe installation on metal roofs of non-sprinkler protected buildings without the need for a one-hour fire-rated separation. Apart from its higher fire rating, the panel adopts the latest high efficiency N type Topcon half cut cells with low temperature coefficient and better performance under low light conditions.
Key Highlights of the Jolywood fire-safe panel:
- Complies with Clause 10.2.2 b of Fire Code 2023.
- Complies with Class A (IEC 61730-2) and Class B (EN 13501-1) fire standards
- System cost increase limited to just ~10%
- Enhanced safety for your assets without compromising on performance
- Certificate of Compliance from Setsco dated 29/5/24
- Declaration of Compliance issued for each project.
Even if your buildings are sprinklered or of concrete roof, adoption of these enhanced fire certifications ensure that the Jolywood panels have minimal contribution to fire hazards, exhibit excellent resistance to ignition and flame spread, and maintain their structural integrity under fire conditions. Consequentially, this higher fire class panel is very much sought after for installation in environments with stringent fire safety requirements, such as commercial and industrial rooftops, thereby enhancing the overall safety and reliability of solar energy systems.
We believe this advancement will greatly benefit your upcoming projects and help accelerate the adoption of renewable energy in a safer and more cost-effective manner.
